1.5 fingers of dense white head. Excellent retention and lacing. Hazy golden body with slight orange hues. Visible, slow moving carbonation.
Juicy. Grapefruit flesh, peach, some tropical fuit notes, some lime.
Taste follows the nose. Starts with grapefruit and moved into soft peach with underlying tropical fruit notes. Finishes with more bitter citrus which is rounded out by more peach and lime flesh. The malt that's present is very crisp.
Very clean. Medium body and carbonation.
This is on par with the 87 as one of the best IPAs that Night Shift has produced to date. Reminds me a bit of a more bitter and complex Whirlpool. I hope this one is rereleased.
