Thanks for the can Kevin.
A- Tallboy into a tall glass with a golden body and a massive creamy white head. The thick cap retains at about three fingers for seemingly minutes before falling to a large pillow. Lacing in massive webs and sheets.
S- Grapefruit from plentiful citrus hop notes that also donate orange and tangerine notes. Pine resin, floral, tropical fruit, herbal and a medium hint of caramelized grains. A touch sweet and bready.
T- Hops become a bit more multi dimensional in the flavor with the tropical tones bringing distinct mango and melon notes that add to the ruby red grapefruit, sharp pine resin, sweet orange zest, floral and herbal tones that ran the aroma. Moderately sweet but not all that caramelized allowing the hops to still run mostly unperturbed. Bready, crackery malts and hints of alcohol.
MF- Medium thickness with a puffy and slightly creamy texture. The carbonation is at a moderate level and overall the body feels just a bit thin. Oily slickness and a sharp grapefruit pith bitterness lingering in the finish.
After homebrewing with this same hop it is clear that the profile is a bold citrus forward explosion with grapefruit and sweet zesty orange peel running the show. Night Shift makes good use of it here allowing just a bit of sweetness to come through to balance out a sharp bitterness.

Golden Orange yellow in color. Somewhat hazy. Papaya, Mango, melon, grapefruit pith and pine. A semi sweet malt backbone accentuates the hop flavors. Bitter finish tones down the sweetness. Real good.

pours a translucent orange/brown color, slightly off-white head that sticks around for a decent amount of time. aroma is a straight hop-bomb: very green, piney, with some dry citrus. also getting slight malt sweetness on the nose. taste is a lot bigger than smell, but slightly less appealing because of the booze bite at the end: lemon peel, some orange juice, some resin, some pine, then a bready malt with a spicy bite. feel was right where you want it for a DIPA. overall this was one decent, but much prefer The 87 in regards to Night Shift DIPAs.
