Part of a flight of the four Weisse's on-tap at the brewery.
Light and fruity with a pleasant tartness and enough sour character to highlight the style and its intentions. Refreshing and juicy. Apricot flavor is there and so is the zing in the finish. Well done!
Note: I think the low average score on here is because few people actually know what apricots taste like fresh. They're hard to find fresh and usually expensive. Very subtle stone fruit flavor, not at all like a peach, but with a creamier texture. I get the impression many people expect a concentrated peach flavor, but even ripe straight off the tree, they're not nearly as sweet as peaches.

Bright yellow in color. Getting lots of wheat on the nose. Taste is mostly wheat, some lemon and lacto. Very light in body and flavor. Getting no Apricots. This was basically a simple golden sour. No fruit was detectable.

New Year's Eve on-site flight of 4 of Night Shift weisses, 2.5oz each.
I didn't get a ton of apricot flavor or smell, or sour feel out of this one. Maybe I need to drink a full pour to really get it. In that sense, I could probably drink the whole 750ml bottle in one go and not have a problem. It's just that none of the attributes of this beer really stood out to me. Decent weisse base, a little sour, a little apricot flavor.
I try to review every beer I drink. I like to think it forces me to objectively improve my sense of taste over time, helps me understand styles and flavors I like, and most importantly the BeerAdvocate weighted ranking system depends on reviews.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
