750ml bottled March 2017
Pours dark maroon red nearing dark brown black, with a dense creamy tan foam head. Smells heavenly of big fresh raspberries and rich chocolate, like a raspberry filled chocolate cordial candy, with some salt, roasty malts, caramel, toffee, vanilla, molasses, brown sugar, toasty bread, and earthy herbal grassy pine. Tastes like fresh raspberry, rich chocolate, lots of salt, roasty malts, caramel, toffee, vanilla, molasses, brown sugar, toasty bread, with earthy herbal grassy pine. Feels medium bodied, creamy with moderate smooth carbonation. Overall a real nice stout with chocolate, salt and raspberries.

L- Pours black with a two finger tan head.of tiny bubbles. Retention and lacing are good.
S- Beautiful raspberry over the top of some sweet chocolate. One of the better noses I've had in a stout.
T- The beer starts out on with dark chocolate which lasts through the mid palate. This gives way to a tart rasberry finish with a bit of salinity mixed in. Really impressed that I'm getting all the promised elements. That rarely happens with beers of this kind for me.
F-The mouthfeel is medium and quite adequate. The coats the tongue and the salinity gives it a bit of dryness on the finish.
O- This is one of the best fruited stouts that I've had. All of the promised elements are there to be found. A well crafted beer.
