Golden dark orange in color. Hazy in appearance. Batch 47 is all Grapefruit all the time. Medium bodied. Dry, citrus rind bitterness. Real good. Had side by side with Batch 49 and this noticeably better.

16oz can dated 4/6/17.
Pours hazy gold with a short head and minimal retention. Dank and piney in the nose with some peppery spiciness and cracked garlic. Medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. A big, piney bitterness up front on the palate with shades of coriander and earth-rubbed bark. Zero malt and very dry. Finishes a bit rough with a wallop of bitterness sustaining along with pine resin.
A bit old-school with the dank, pine character and massive bitterness.

Love this, might be my favorite in the MORPH series. Smell is kind bud and skunk all other aromas take a backseat, fruits are there but this smells like a marijuana leaf.
Taste follows the nose, but the fruits are more present.
This is really good. I mean I wouldn't sit down and chug a few, but another unique and interesting selection from the MORPH series.

Egg shell white color head. Settles to rim bubbles, but leaves a nice ring after each sip. The brew is cloudy giving a white hue to the dirty lemon color.
Strong citrus (grapefruit) rind aroma. I detect a touch of sweetness from the pale malt base.
The start is thin in body with a touch of sourness to the tongue. The hop takes over quickly and strongly. Lots of black pepper in the finish giving this beer a very long aftertaste. High carbonation. Overall, this is a hop lovers dream.

From the Night Shift website: "Featuring Topaz, Columbus, and Citra, plus a touch of Honey Malt; earthy aroma; flavors of candied mango and citrus; bitter piney finish (5.8%)"; amazing look and head retention to this beer

From a 16oz can, served in a spiegelau. Pours hazy orange with a respectable head - retention is so-so but leaves a thick wall of lacing. Smells terrific, super funky. Tastes funky, too, but not the entirely good kind of funky - not all bad but with prominent notes of skunk cabbage and crotch. Feel is OK. Overall, just as well that this is a one-off.
