Can was stamped 4/19/17 - Batch 48. Poured hazy straw color with a decent, sticky head. More herbal than piney or citrusy. The relatively low alcohol content (4.7%) is a surprising revelation, as this tasted more full-bodied than a session beer.

Can from Colonial
Hazy lemon yellow color with a decent sized long lasting tightly bubbled white head. Grassy herbal tropical fruity with a hint of pine. Somewhat similar with a sharp grassy bitterness that seems common in every night Shift IPA I've tried. Decent beer.

One of the better Night Shift beers I have had, but still nothing that I would seek out if they weren't showing up as extras in half the Northeast trades I do. Good, but not great.

4/20/17! Consumed on 4/29/17. Tall boy can.
Loving the one-off limited editions with different highlighted ingredients. Each version very different and unique. Dig it.
A hazed out white light shining through a straw gold color. Opaque.healthy, lacy, chunky sea-foam cap. Ultimate retention. Huge lace abounds.
Earthy, funky-sour wheat malt and loads of earthy, herbal mix hop nose. Bug and bold. Unique, without the classic but outplayed, fruity, citrus and pine dominated hop aroma's you get with just about every new American IPA.
Jam packed with dry grassy, herbal and very old-school, old-world grainy and earthy hop complexity. Very light malt effect, crisp and super clean, much like a the malty backbone (or lack there of) from a Hefeweizen. Just enough to deliver the goods and let the light shine on the hop flavor's. A rather low abv is obvious, big flavor but with a very mellow alcohol presence. A seriously complex and interesting session IPA.
Such a fresh and health, full but crisp mouthfeel. The overall vibe is nice complexity but with a limitless crushabilty. Dig the hops.
