Pours clear, gold in color with 1/2 inch head. Taste is honey and grass. Light bodied, clean, moderate carbonation and sweet. Makes for an excellent domestic example of the style. Could drink this one all day.

Pours a clear gold with a thin, fluffy white head that left a decent amount of lacing. Smells and tastes of crackers, biscuity malts, light honey notes and floral hops. Mildly bitter and dry, light to medium bodied (typical for the style), medium carbonation, clean and crisp.

Night Shift has range for days. Dang - they pump out a lot of different styles and each one will be, at worst, solid and, at best, fantastic.
Drank straight from the can - punt to a 4 on look. Lighter body with ample notes of dough, cracker and biscuit with a kiss of lemony and spicy hops on the back end. Pleasantly bitterness rounds out each thirst-quenching sip. Made to style based on my experience. Great beer; would love to see it year round.

Consumed 9/11/17
A: Medium gold with some caramel at its core - nicely clear - pours with a medium sized off-white, lightly fluffy head, retains a small cap and leaves some nice lacing
S: Grainy and bready - grains, lightly toasted grains, light bread, bread dough, crackers, hints of biscuits - a sulfur-like possibly yeasty aroma - some pils malt - lightly grassy - some light sweetness and light fruitiness
T: Interesting malt flavors and mild overall - bread, bread dough, crackers, grains, lightly toasty grains - lingering sulfur, just a touch beyond charming - some grassy hops - low bitterness - low sweetness with some pilsner sweetness and some light grape-like fruit - finishes mostly clean
M: On the light side of medium, medium carbonation, crisp and refreshing
O: Krusch 'em
Drinking a Kölsch brewed in MA almost forces me to compare it to Exhibit A's flagship Goody Two Shoes, which is hardly fair. Night Shift's attempt at the weird style is mostly good. It just needs to be cleaner.

16oz can, purchased at brewery.
Extremely sessionable, the crispness within the lighter body is spot on. Lots of bready and crackery malt flavors, subtle hopping that is just enough flavor and just enough bitterness to balance. Very much to style which is great to see.

Canned 8/2/17 4.4% ABV.
A: Pours a very hazy pale yellow. Good sized but very fizzy white head. Head dissipates fairly quickly with no real sign of lacing. Just some splotchy tendrils here and there.
S: Grassy and wheaty mostly. Tiny hint of sulfur.
T: Some grass and some flowers. Light graininess, maybe a touch of wheat? Kinda tastes like bread crusts. A bit of that sulfur flavor on the back end, reminds me of a pilsner malt.
M: Light, smooth, easy drinking.
O: Not much to say about this one. A smooth, crisp, easy drinking kolsch. Perfect for the style.

Pours a clear golden straw in color with a finger of white head. Aroma is subtle with grainy, lightly bready malt, a touch of pear, and a light sulfur note that blows off quickly. Taste mirrors the aroma with some crisp grainy malt upront. Light-medium body with moderate carbonation. Overall a decent beer, it isn't flashy but drinks pretty well. I would happily have a few of these at a cookout.

L: Crystal clear beer, pale yellow with golden highlights.
S; Aroma is a nice cereal grainy with honey aroma I'd expect from the style. Really inviting aroma
T: Taste is on point for the style. Great grain character, light fruitiness and honey sweetness, touch of floral hop on the finish.
F: Light, medium carbonation, next level refreshment. Super balanced and easy to kick back
O: I'd say they hit the nail on the head for the style. All around a great drinking experience, easy to drink, but doesn't lack great flavor.
