16oz can dated 8/31/17.

Pours cloudy gold after a vigorous swirl and decant of the dregs. An inch -plus of white settled to a thin coating with nice lacing. Aromatics lead off peach, grapefruit, and tangerine. Shades of pith-rubbed creamsicle follows through. Medium bodied and crisp. Pithy citrus starts the palate with plenty of bitterness and loads of grapefruit. Zero malt and the beer is quite dry. Finishes with a serious amount of bitter citrus pith.

This Morph has quite a whallop of hops with no apologies.

Pours a bright orange gold color, very cloudy with a half-finger pillowy head.

Aroma is an alluring mix of papaya, melon, orange and grapefruit. Smells more in the sticky sweet category of fruits.

The taste is really an unusual but fantastic combination of flavors, quite strong and up front. This is no delicate beer for flavor. Similar to the hop aroma but less of the melon sweetness, more feeling like orange peel and a little papaya behind. This is due to a moderately high bitterness that takes over midway through. Malt is fairly low and in teh background, adding a nice sweet base to compliment the tropicals.

Feel is smooth and creamy but crisp and dry due to the low malt. Unsticky but bitter.

Wow this is a fantastic beer. My previous favorite Morph was #49 but the concentration of hop flavor in here is off the charts while the bitterness balances out the expereince. These guys just keep learning and getting better at the IPA thing.

Mango, tangerine, orange zest, Grapefruit and pine. Cracker malt base. Balance between sweetness and bitterness. Fairly dry, bitter finish. Building citrus bitterness.

16 oz. Can. Brewed with: Rakau, Vic Secret, and Idaho 7 hops.
Notes: 5.5 % abv. Meyer Lemmon, Grapefruit zest, melon rind and slight herbaciousness. .

A cloudy pale gold with a Belgian Witt look to it. Classic New England style look. Rocky, bubbly, 2" high foam topping recedes slow to a bunch of chunky lace.

The New England style IPA aroma's seem to be very similar. Citrus, pine, tropical juice etc.....this one has some melon and herbals as well, maybe some mango. Bold nose.

A very earthy, hop bite gets bitter, dry and leafy....then the citrus, white pepper and herbs kick in flavorwise. A very well rounded hop complexity. The light and crispy edged malt delivers some grains and light golden wheat aspects. Dig the earthy tones in this one!

The mouthfeel is crisp, almost sharp with a peppery, dry kick. The unfiltered approach leads to an almost full feel with a smooth, thich finish. A very complex feel.

There might be as many New England style IPA's on the market right now, as there are stars in the sky. ...its hard to stand out. Most are of good quality. This one is certainly worthy of attention.
