Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass.
Pours a cloudy golden straw color with 2 fingers of fluffy white head. The head sticks around for a while, leaving some nice cobweb lacing before settling into a thin film.
The aroma is full of honeydew melon, candied orange, ruby red grapefruit and papaya. The bready malt backbone provides a subtle balance to the sugary fruit sweetness.
The flavor is all orange and grapefruit up front, followed by a wave of melon. Finishes earthy and piney with a minimal malt presence.
The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very creamy and smooth with a faintly dry finish.
Overall, a great IPA that is full of juicy fruit flavors, yet offers plenty of resinous bitterness. It's highly drinkable and showcases both hops quite well.
