Appearance – One finger head on a hazy yellow body.
Aroma – Apples, citrus, a little bit of pine at the end.
Taste – Woody, pine and bitter resins, with a quick hint of tropical fruit on the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel – Full and not too astringent.
Overall – Yet another good one by Night Shift. Worth trying if you can get it fresh.

Poured on draft at the brewery.
Pours a cloudy golden straw color with a finger of fluffy white head. The head leaves some nice cobwebs of lace before settling into a thick, foamy blanket.
The nose is all citrus. Orange peel and grapefruit followed by lemon and lime zest. Not bad, but entirely standard.
The flavor follows the nose. Lots of grapefruit, orange, and lemon with the foggiest hint of pine. The back end has a very subtle biscuit malt character. Again, not bad, but standard and lacking any semblance of complexity.
The body is fairly thin with pretty good carbonation. Crisp and dry with a clean finish. Drinks more like a hoppy saison than an IPA.
Overall, a beautiful looking beer that is unfortunately bland in all its other aspects. Not a bad beer, but certainly not a great entry to the Morph series.

No canning date or indication of which version this is, I assume it's from the last production run to hit the stores early this month, which would make it #58. I do wish if NS is going to putz around with recipes for a brew under the same name as much as they apparently have with this one,, they would clearly identify the batch number and date of production/canning.
a; Translucent gold with an inch and a half white head which receded snowly to thick even surface foam and fairly dense lacing.
s; Citrus leaning to lemon.
t; General citrus/pine over a medium biscuit malt base. Dry finish with a little lingering hop bitterness.
m; Medium, very good body and some carbonation tingle.
o; An exceptional session IPA. Not sure why the rating average on this is so, well, average, it's about as good as a low ABV IPA is these days, and that's very good.

16oz can. Batch 58 Canned 02/02/18. Pours a slightly hazy burnt yellow with 2 inches of fluffy white head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is malts with lemon, lime, grapefruit and maybe a hint of pine. The taste is a good deal of the citrus hops followed by the malts. Lemon and lime finish with a hint of pine and toasted bread. Oily mouthfeel with lots of carbonation. Not much of an alcohol presence. Overall, a pretty good low ABV IPA.
