On-tap at Night Shift on 3/7/2019. Bourbon barrel-aged version with Poblano Peppers, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Vanilla. Pours an inky black with no head - just some redial bubbles around the edges. Nose is kind of weird - peppers and a hint of cinnamon on a toasted cocoa backbone. Taste follows nose. Mouthfeel is thin in body for the style with a mild, even carbonation and perhaps a kiss of heat. Overall, serving was too cold; however, it all came off a bit muddled.

L - 2.5 finger fluffy hazelnut head atop a cola black body.

S - strong booze, peppers, chocolate.

T - bourbon-filled chocolates with a kick. Peppers are only apparent on the finish. Low bitterness. Low sweetness. High booziness.

F - medium body and carb.

O - quite a beast of a beer!
