16 oz. can.
Canned 03/13/19.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 7/8 inch light tan head over a translucent mahogany body with no lacing. Nose of biscuit, dark malt, and slight caramel. Taste mirrors nose pretty well with a bit of sweetness in the middle and a bit of chocolate on the finish. Very tasty, indeed; with a good feel and overall, I could definitely drink more than a few of these at a sitting. Cheers to the boys of Everett, MA for this tasty treat!

Pours a dark nutty-brown with a finger of off-white foam. Head retention is fair. Aroma is nutty, caramely, bready, crackery malts with hints of toast, toffee, and caramel. It smells lightly dry, but is all-in-all, refreshing. Flavor profile is crackery, bready, caramely, nutty malts with hints of toffee, pecans and burnt sugar. Sugary notes come off a little stronger than the malts, with a little background water diluting the taste. Mouth feel is lightly watery, with just a little effervescence and a sprinkle of texture. Texture is thin, and feels like running fine silt across the tongue - just without the bad taste. Overall, malt forward in a delightful, dark package makes for a pleasurable sipping experience that lands somewhere between a dark mild, a lager, and a porter.
