Look: Dirty brown dishwater. Not appealing at all.
Nose: Tropical fruit bomb. Nice.
Taste: Follows nose, papaya and other fruits I never eat.
Feel: Soft yet full bodied.
Overall: Perfectly fine, but not a NightShift standout. I’d suggest drinking this one from the can so the look of it doesn’t spoil your experience.

Fresh off a week of drinking Tree House, it's a bit odd that I'm having another NEIPA, from a brewery that's good, but could hardly match TH for the style. Still, I love Night Shift and had to pick this up when I saw it. The namesake IPA of their small Boston taproom, a place I've visited a few times and have always enjoyed
Pours a hazy gold with 3 fingers of soapy white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves decent lacing
Like I said, compared to all the Tree House I've been having, this is weak in comparison aroma-wise, but it is still solid. I'm picking up on aromas of grassy hops, papaya, lemon rind, a hint of pepper, and bready malt
There isn't all that much going on in taste, but the simplicity helps the drinkability. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting bright orange, lemon, bready malt, and grassy hops. The swallow opens up a bit, bringing notes of oily hops, papaya, soft peach, pithy grapefruit, general citrus, and crisp bready malt
A medium body pairs with mild tingly carbonation, resulting in a slick and refreshing beer. Finishes somewhere between dry and sticky with lingering bitterness
Another good beer from Night Shift, but ultimately forgettable unfortunately. Oh well, I'm still happy I tried it
