Deep dark brown color where light passes along the edge. Lasting head but a minimum of lacing -- a few minor spots.
Darker malt nose but not quite coffee like. More like semisweet chocolate.
Burnt bread was the first flavor I picked up on. Chewy body with a lower carbonation level. Lots of bitter chocolate on the tongue. The aftertaste reflects this, it's almost chalky. I get a touch of cinnamon in the aftertaste.
