Straw gold with orange highlights and a white inner haze. Fluff puff style white foam topping, thick and clumpy with groovy lacing.

The aroma is simply incredible. Bold and complex with a huge freshly crushed up hoppy scent. I mean, this is about as fresh... Wet and dry hopped style as it gets. Heady stuff. Strong golden grains of malt, husky, robust herbal hops, tangy and sweet citrus, tropical all up in the nose. Pineapple and black pepper with citrus and fresh grains. Earthy and fruity to the max.

The mouthfeel is classic New England Style headiness! Crisp, clean, fresh and juicy, dry then lush and smooth. The best of the NE style feels is about as good as it gets.

The flavor is world class for the style and in general. Deep, fresh and potent with serious layers in the overall complexity. Earthy...husky...freshly crushed hops have flavors of citrus/tropical/pine and dried leaves. The malted golden earthy grains give perfect balance to the style, holding it all together. The freshness and depth of the taste in every aspect is exactly what I think of as world class grade. Although the cream of the crop for this style might have a few more layers of hop to brag about....as the earthy and citrusy based stone fruits dominate in most aspects for every sip.

O.K, so I'm loving this "In development series" New England IPA Batch #2. Obviously this is pretty much what I'm looking for within this style.
