A: opaque; cola brown in color; with a fairly aggressive pour, a wispy tan head that receded in seconds to a thin collar; no lacing;
S: deeply roasted grain with a hint of bittersweet chocolate;
T: follows the nose for a moment; the middle is balanced between deeply roasted grain and bittersweet chocolate; on the finish, you get a hint of the pinot noir grapes;
M: full bodied; light to moderate carbonation; dry finish;
O: an OK stout; I may not have picked up on the pinot noir grapes if they weren't part of the name;

The Price Is Wrong pours into a chalice the color of medium coffee roast, brief tan head, molasses ... raisin, plum, and licorice aroma. The taste is malty, but with a noticeable and welcome hop-tang. The feel is moderately effervescent, medium/heavy texture.
Overall, this is a terrific sipper, rich palate, warming on a biting winter's night.

The price is definitely wrong. I love stouts and was intrigued by the fact that it was made with Pinot Noir grapes, but some things should remain separate, like beer and wine. It poured into a cool looking blackish red that was similar to a red wine. It even had a bit of a wine smell to it with the grapes definitely dominating my nasal passages. However, this is where the fun ended. First sip was interesting, but after the second and third, I was left wondering why I was drinking this. It was like a wine/beer love child gone wrong. While the taste wasn't great, it was a smooth drink. However, much like Happy Gilmore's short game, this beer was not good.

Interesting concept: stout brewed with Pinot noir grapes.
Dark chocolate color with 2F head in a Spielgelau Stout glass.
The aroma develops broadly- first heavy coffee, more grape like with warming.
Medium body.
Taste: strong coffee, roasted malt, with warming- more grape.
Grapes and wine barrel aged stouts are not my favorite approach. Bourbon, barrel aged, and heavier viscosity is what I enjoy most in an imperial stout.

Canned 2/20/20
Pours a dark muddy brown with less than a finger of mocha colored head that quickly reduces to a cap
Strong roast present in the aroma backed up with sweetness from chocolate notes, maybe it's power of suggestion but I smell something fruity
Dark roast coffee immediately comes to mind in the taste with hints of vanilla and smoke, and again a slight fruity ester that comes out on the back end of the sip. It takes more of a grape character than in the nose but still not in the way I was expecting
Medium bodied for the style with gentle carbonation, this finishes off-dry and sweet. A bit more carbonation would've helped this one
An interesting experiment that turned out pretty well if not a bit underwhelming. I would've loved more grape character as I think it would've jived well with the roast. Oh well, glad I tried it

Great name, bitch!
Pours a large foamy dark head with lower retention, very fizzy, decent lacing, bit of legs, very dark basically black color
Nose brings cocoa up front, dark chocolate, a little roast, a touch of char and smoke from the roast, hint of fruitiness, hard to get grapes, little fudgey cocoa
Taste brings rich cocoa and dark chocolate, cookie wafer, powdered cocoa, raw chocolate, lots of that, little roast, just a touch of char and smokey roast again, again a little generic fruity flavor but can't really call it grapes,... well actually a bit late on the back end I can get a little grape juice, but not Concord grape juice like a nice Pinot grape that is about to become wine or something, soft rich smooth malt, very little alcohol, light bitterness probably more from the roast than the hops
Mouth is med to fuller bod, smooth very light warming alcohol, med to a bit lighter carb
Overall a nice base stout, unfortunately not much of the grapes but a little fruity note, not much bitterness, if I didn't know this was an American Imperial Stout with Grapes, I would have thought RIS with the fruity notes from the yeast

Pint can dated 2/20/20. Look is pretty dark, slightly brown coffee color at the translucent edges. Barely even a film of a head (doesn't seem very carbonated). Smell is nice, typical stout with a good bit of chocolate. Taste is pretty much like the smell, moderate roasted malt with chocolate and a hint of what is probably the pinot noir grapes (as noted on the label). The can says 10% ABV but there isn't much of an alcohol heat to it. Not particularly vinous though, seems like the grapes just add a smoothness to the taste adding on to the chocolate. Feel is moderate body but lacks carbonation. Overall, this is a nice stout, particularly if you want something with the chocolate taste and aroma.
