Everything gets doubled in the Work Zone! The older sibling to Traffic Cone (fan favorite IPA with orange peel). Work Zone is a powerful New England DIPA with tangerine peel. Featuring a toolbox full of specialty hops, this well-built sipper has booming notes of citrus, peach, and grapefruit. Hard hat not included, but strongly suggested.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint; canned 09/18/20.
A: Pours a slightly hazy, golden-orange color with a one and two finger, orange chiffon head, strong retention (initially), and rings of complex and lasting lacing.
S: The aroma of tangerine predominates.
T: Semisweet. Flavors of tangerine, pineapple, and citrus Pixie Stix, providing a balance with the moderate to strong bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: I haven't been too impressed by too many tangerine infused NEIPAs, but this one is gorgeous. Kudos for finding the correct balance.

Work Zone...."New England Double India Pale Ale With Tangerine Peel"
16 ouncer with "canned on 9/17/20" stamped on the bottom.
Pour with a healthy haze, slight ruby hue, and leaves a bunch of nice looking and super fine splattered bits of lacing.
Oranges, tangerines, clementines all over the pungent nose.
More of the same on the palate, oranges, waves of citrus, honey, and a hint of vanilla. Complex, nicely crafted and quite tasty.....more quality brew from Night Shift...worth a try

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 9/15/20. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a half finger sticky white head that leaves a bunch of thin streaks of lace. 4.25.
Smell is loaded with tangerine, pineapple, and apricot simple but nice. 4
Taste follows tangerine, pineapple, apricot, and grapefruit. 4
Mouthfeel is bigger than medium, a tad sticky, soft gentle carbonation, and at 7.5% very easy drinking. 4.
Overall this is a nice NEIPA, a tad one dimensional but pretty darn tasty just the same. 4
