My local liquor store, which carries lots of wonderful craft beers, recently had this in the cooler. It appealed because it was an IPA, which I like, with spruce tips, which I wanted to try.
The production date on the bottom of the can was 11/24/20; the ABV is hard to read but is somewhere between 5.8 and 5.9% by volume (stamped on the rim of the bottom of the can).
When opened, the beer pours a nice lacy head of a finger or two in height; hazy below. The smell is inviting, with a hint of grapefruit. Where this beer falls apart is in the taste, which is totally bland.
I've sampled three of the four-pack in an attempt to appreciate this beer, but it hasn't happened. Much pricier than I usually pay. Disappointing.
