Man, it’s probably been over a year since I’ve tried anything new in this series. I don’t really recall seeing ekuanot hops in many other beers, and definitely not the ultra concentrated cryo ones. Let’s crack it open and see what this hop does
Pours a cloudy pale gold with 3 fingers of soapy white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves decent lacing
There’s a nice balance of bitter and fruity hops going on in the nose. I’m picking up on aromas of apple skin, crackery malt, lime juice, grassy hops, and a touch of white grape
It’s not quite as enticing in taste, but it’s still pretty solid. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting lemon zest, crackery malt, pithy grapefruit, grassy hops, and white pepper. The swallow brings notes of crackery malt, white pepper, pithy grapefruit, piney hops, and light orange
A light medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a refreshing yet sharp beer. Finishes mostly dry with a firm bitterness
This is pretty solid as far as this series goes, but I think it’s just a touch too bitter for its own good

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Luke's in Plymouth for about fourteen dollars. Canned on date of 10/26/21. My twenty fourth brew from these guys. Decent brew, nothing special.
