This gingerbread stout tastes like sweet, soft-baked cookies with cinnamon and ginger. It's the perfect balance of sweet and spice. Pours like espresso with a round, soft mouthfeel.

Pours a brownish black with a small tan head light lacing.
Smells of ginger and malt.
Tastes of ginger, cinnamon, coffee and sweet toasted malt with a spicy alcohol warm finish.
Medium heavy body with light carbonation. Lush syrupy mouthfeel.
This is a very flavorful sipper.

Pours a frothy bubbly 1 finger tan to brown head with great retention, soapy lacing, pitch black color
Nose lots of gingerbread spices, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar cookie with vanilla icing, and loads more of the spices on top, sweet toffee and molasses, hint of chocolate, light coffee
Taste brings more spices, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, with more gingerbread and sugar cookies with lots of vanilla icing on top, brown sugar, molasses, toffee, a bit of cocoa powder, coffee roast, and some roasted malt bitterness, into a spicy hop late, a little creamy lactose, a bit of an alcohol flavor comes through late, mild sticky sweet finish
Mouth is med to fuller bod, creamy and rich, med frothy carb, light warming alcohol
Overall not bad, spices were fairly overpowering but the rest of the beer seemed to work OK, wish the spices were toned down a bit though
