It’s nice to see more new Night Shift popping up at my local liquor store. This one is a NEIPA with actual tangerine peel, pretty cool. Let’s see what this one is all about
Pours a burnt orange gold with 3 fingers of creamy white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves nice lacing
Even when expecting some bitterness wirh tangerine peel, this is still decidedly tropical in the nose. I’m picking up on aromas of creamy papaya, sweet peach, vanilla, tangerine zest, pale malt, mango juice, and light grassy hops
This definitely has more of a bite to itbin taste that is much appreciated. On the front end of the sip I’m tastint tangerine zest, pale malt, orange juice, resinous hops, underripe mango, and light caramel. The swallow brings notes of underripe mango, bready malt, lightly tart tangerine, creamy papaya, and piney hops
A medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a smooth and clean beer. Finishes mostly dry with an increasing bitterness
Night Shift’s NEIPA game usually doesn’t impress me that much, but this one was fuckin awesome. The tangerine peel really gives it a unique identity. Hopefully this is a sign of beers to come from them
