The Santilli you know and love, but cranked to 11 (or 19.2 ounces, to be exact). With Super Santilli, we raised the ABV to a hefty 9%, and amped up the hops. Yet, somehow, we kept the grapefruit and pine flavors perfectly balanced – no small feat. And speaking of small, we asked ourselves “Why stop at 12 or 16 ounces?” With Super Santilli, you get 19.2 ounces of bold, crisp DIPA goodness per (giant) can. As the wise say, you can never have too much of a good thing.

Bought this one on a whim as it was canned 10 days ago.
Worried it might be a hazy with no description on the can.
Nope. Exactly the old-school imperial IPA pine/grapefruit I was hoping to enjoy. Yum!
Have not been disappointed by anything from this brewer yet.

Time for a beer after another abomination of a game by the Patriots... UGH!

From a 19.2oz can, with no canning date or best-by info.... Pours a slightly hazy, medium-golden color. Has very light, sparse carbo within. Up top is a 1/4" layer of bright white, fluffy foam. It ebbs to a fine layer, with decent lacing on the glass. Aroma has nice notes of apricot and tangerine, plus a smidge of toasty malt. Body is a solid medium, and it is fairly smooth on the tongue.

Flavor is not as sweet as the nose may have suggested. Has a bit of malt, but it's mostly fruit and hops hitting the palate. Has some grapefruit, pineapple and dank, piney action. Beyond that, not much. It is dry and leans to the bitter side at the finish. Somewhat MEH, all in all. Prost!!

Big can from Market basket poured into a Samuel Adams Pint. Mostly clear deep gold color with a small bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. Bready toasty maltiness hints of caramel, plenty of citrus and pine with bits of tropical and stone fruits. Really nice.

19.2 oz canned 04/19/23

Pours hazy yellow gold with a frothy white foam head. Smells like pineapple, mango, guava, tropical fruit, caramelized toasty bready malt, orange citrus, grapefruit, lemon, and earthy grassy resinous pine. Tastes like caramelized toasty bready malt, pineapple, mango, guava, tropical fruit, orange citrus, lemon, grapefruit, and dank earthy grassy resinous pine. Feels medium plus bodied, creamy slick with moderate smooth carbonation. Overall a real nice DIPA.

Picked-up a single nineteen ounce can at Bradford's in Plymouth for about four dollars. My twenty sixth brew reviewed from these guys. Canned on date of 3/3/23. Big miss for me.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed orange amber color with a small head of white foam. The head fades slowly over time and leaves a ton of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of tropical fruits of pineapple, tangerine, and mango. Along with these smells comes a good deal of grapefruit and some lighter pine. Other aromas of melon and a touch of grain and bread are there as well, producing a rather nice, sweet, and inviting aroma overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and malty flavor mixed with lots of tropical fruits of tangerine, papaya, and pineapple. With these flavors comes a decent showing of grapefruit hop and a bit of earthy and pine hop. The maltiness increases as the taste advances, along with the sweet getting slightly more intense as well. Toward the end of the taste there is a touch of hay and harvest fruit that comes to the tongue, leaving one with a rather rich taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thick and chewy with a lower carbonation level. For the rich flavors the feel is rather right, and makes for a good sipper.
Overall – A sweeter and more malty double with a rather good flavor profile overall. Definitely a fun one to try.

I got this in a 19oz tall-boy can.

Pours a clear golden color with a 1F head and light lacing.

Smells of slightly dank grassy hops.

Tastes of malt with a bit of a wheat tanginess with a moderately bitter alcohol warm finish.

Medium body and carbonation. Dry mouthfeel.

This is a strong, simple, bit of a hop bomb, a good bang for your buck west coast IPA.
