This peanut butter stout is made in collaboration with our nutty Everett neighbors, Teddie Peanut Butter. Brewed with peanut butter and cacao nibs, this beer is big, bold, and (dare we say) super chunky. It sips luscious and thick, with sweet flavors of dark chocolate and rich notes of freshly roasted peanuts. You can practically spread it with a knife.

Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a dark brown, nearly black color, with a small head of brown colored foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, fading over time and leaving tons of brown foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is huge of a roasted peanut and dark chocolate aroma mixed with a strong showing of caramel and brown sugar. Along with these smells comes a huge roasty and toasty malt smell mixed with aroma of smoke and char. With some smells of vanilla and a nice bit of coffee and crème, one is left with a nice peanut butter cup aroma. Quite inviting.
Taste – The taste starts with a heavy roasted malt flavor paired with a good showing of toast and coffee as well as some sweeter flavors of caramel and brown sugar. There is a moderately strong roasted peanut butter flavor as well as a nice hit of dark chocolate upfront, both of which grow stronger and stronger as the taste advances. At the same time some of the vanilla and creme that were in the nose join in, all while the coffee that was present upfront fades. Some confectioners sugar and a bit of char develop at the end, leaving one with a dark and roasty, moderately sweet, but balanced peanut butter cup like stout flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is rather thick and chewy with a moderate carbonation level. For the rich peanut butter cup and dark and roasty flavors, the feel is awesome and makes for a nice dessert sipper.
Overall – A very tasty peanut butter stout. Very rich, but certainly not cloying. Dark, peanutty, and bold.

Pours pitch black with a thick, dense creamy brown foam head. Smells like fresh peanut butter, rich chocolate, cocoa puffs, toffee, dark caramel, brown sugar, and some earthy hops. Tastes like fruity rich dark chocolate, roasty peanut butter, toffee, dark caramel, brown sugar, toasted malts, with earthy herbal hops. Feels medium plus bodied, thick and creamy with smooth moderate carbonation. Overall a nice imperial stout with peanut butter and cacao nibs.
