Night Shift Brewing

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a rather hazy yellow-orange color with a tall head of foam. The head fades over a moderate level of time, leaving a great sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is massive of a tropical fruit smell with tons of tangerine, mango, and pineapple. Along with these smells comes big notes of honeydew and cantaloupe along with a nice showing of floral and flowery hops with some hints of honey and grain.
Taste -The taste starts with a nice bready base mixed with some of the tropical fruits that were in the nose. There is a nice bit of bit of pineapple and mango, along with notes of papaya and guava. The honeydew and cantaloupe that were stronger in the nose, don’t show up at first, but really come into play as the taste advances. There are other notes of a grapefruit and pine hop that develop along the way as well, producing a nice natured and melony taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is lighter to moderate with an average carbonation with medium fineness.
Overall – A rather pleasant more melon flavored IPA. I really actually think this is a fun brew and one I hope they continue.
