Dollar bills stuck to the ceiling. Concrete floor. Small cozy L-shaped bar and high top tables with chairs. Brewing equipment in clear view in the back. About eight beers on tap with a good variety of styles. Giant potted plant. Garage door fronting the street, with an outside alley patio with picnic tables. Cooler has beer to go. Cordial and friendly staff. Street parking. Small joint with a jovial attitude.

i remember when these guys had that little spot in fort collins for like ten minutes a number of years ago, actually had some solid beers in there, so it was cool to check out their original spot in cheyenne finally, a pretty tiny little spot, dark, narrow with the bar in the back, tight back there trying to get a beer with butts in every seat. they have some tables in the front as you walk in, and a rather basic decor, feels like a million other taprooms, but the beer list was intriguing when i was in, which alone made this place cool. i had a clever coffee amber ale, a really intense chili beer, and a flavorful and bitter modern american pale ale, all were good, none were incredible. they had a bunch of crowlers and even a special bottle to go, very good selection overall. the service was good too, guy was really nice, hooked up some samples, gave me some good food recommendations, and was bringing people together at the bar. the space overall was nothing special or unique, but it is relaxed and mellow, no frills, and the beers were solid and somewhat ambitious considering the local context, i enjoyed my time here and would swing back through for sure. more about the beer than the ambiance.

Small space with tasty beers. Owner/brewer/bartender was super cool and friendly. Great music. Plenty of off street parking. I would definitely hang out at this place and drink beer!

Nice space, rustic and quaint, but comfortable. I tried the lemon peel wheat, and an amber, neither of which had much flavor or anything worth writing about. They had a decent selection of other beers that might be worth trying though. Service was friendly and I like the option of a 5 oz pour for $1.50, 10 oz for $3, or 20 oz for $5.

Great Service, cool atmosphere, and decent selection... Some brews taste syrupy but 844 uncommon is my favorite... Difficult to compete with brews to the south but will continue to support the local guys and wish them well for their continued contribution to the craft in good ol Wyo...

Visited here 16/09/2013. A very impressive building tastefully refurbished inside and out. A very nice bar at one end of the room with 8 beers on tap all well crafted and good. Stand out beer for me was the Vanilla Porter a cracking Pint. Pleasant company and a great cross section of people in the pub. Had a good chat with the Brewers. A great addition to the Beer scene in Cheyenne. Will be Back a Great beer place

I'm sorry, maybe it was a bad day but the beers I had tasted sort of like rubbing alcohol. I looked around in amazement as others had beers and thought maybe my palate was going bad or I had some sort of altitude adjustment problem. I found this not to be the case, as I enjoyed a visit later to a brewery in Laramie. Maybe people in places enjoy their beers differently, but the beers here were to me severely lacking in malt leaving behind a hot mess. Might have to go back again to see if it was this bad all the time (at least to me) as it was one of my worst flight tasting experiences I've had.
On a side note, I really did like the taproom itself from a historical aspect.

Best place to stop in Cheyenne for a quality pint. The atmosphere is nice, clean and quiet. A good place to go with friends or family to enjoy a good beer. The 1890 IPA and the Hot Chocolate Porter are the two standout beers for me, however I usually like the hoppier and darker beers. The other beers are also good. If you like a lighter beer try the Funkin' Pumpkin Ale. They also have one of the best chili beers I've had. The staff is friendly and know the beers. The selection isn't bad, something for everyone on tap and a few specialty beers like the pumpkin and the chili that you don't find everywhere. Also tried their seasonal Steamboat Imperial Stout, they only had a 400 bottle release but the beer was awesome and can't wait to see what the next release will be. No kitchen but they do sell chips and other snacks.
