An American version of the British bitter. More strongly hopped with US Northern Brewer hops, balancing a more variegated malt backbone of caramel and Munich malts and spicy west coast ale yeast. Not quite as dry as St. George's but still very quaffable.

Pours a nice amber with a frothy cream colored head that leaves some nice lace.
Smells of roasted malt, whole grain bread, bitter spice, and lemon hops.
A nice balance of bread malt citrus spicy hops.

A-Cloudy amber, some carbonation with a two finger head.
S-Caramel, some citrus hops and a tad bit of dirt.
T-Slight caramel, dirt and come citrus. Although it really could use some more bitterness.
M-Medium bodied, some carbonation, nothing jumps out.
O-Not a bad beer, but it is kind of boring. Some more bitterness (I believe it was around 40IBUs) would make it much better.
