Poured into a Duvel tulip. No freshness date.

A- Pours a hazy medium amber color with a 1/2 inch cream colored head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a full sheet of surface foam. Resilient lacing leaves a jagged ring behind.

S- Sweet orange aroma kind of reminds me of an orange creamsicle. Also a bit of pineapple.

T- Again, orangey but the bitterness and earthiness of the hop flavor gives me more of a vitamin C type taste. Quite drinkable with mild bitterness for the style.

M- A bit dry (which kind of amplifies that chalky vitamin C thing I get) with medium carbonation and a lightish body.

O- Definitely in line with the new hazy-looking IPAs with low bitterness and high fruit flavor, which are good but I look for a bit more intensity in my IPAs. It's particularly the feel and flavor which remind me of a Flintsones vitamin that are least enticing. I'm being nitpicky as it is a good beer but this brewery was pitched to me as of Trillium quality and I disagree.

This beer pours a vibrant light golden yellowish color with a huge, fluffy, bright white head. Retention is excellent and there are sticky chunks of lacing everywhere. Smell is grapefruit pith, tangerine, pineapple, and a dank earthiness. Taste is the same with a moderate amount of bitterness on the finish. Feel is light, soft and smooth. Could be juicier if it wasn't as bitter, but that is not a knock. Overall a fantastic beer. Definitely seems like a NE IPA with a west coast twist.

Can pour on 5/17/16.

Murky, pale orange juice in appearance. Smell is big citrus, fluffy malt with bits of herbal "dirt" Taste is heavily centered on the citrus and dank, dirty herbal notes swirled in there. The feel is really where it's at for these beers, the payoff being maximum drinkability. Overall, a splendid offering from Monkish. Love the new direction they're heading with these.

A: Light hazy amber, 2 finger creamy head, good retention.
AR: Pineapple, mango, tangerine, white grape, subtle earthiness.
T: Follows nose, very fruit forward/huge juice bomb, light lingering hop bitterness and grapefruit on the palate.
M: Medium body, medium carbonation, mostly dry but slightly sticky on the finish.

Wow. A whole lot of fruit. Subtly sweet with enough bitterness to balance it out.
