Picked this up along with Really Real on my way home from vacation. Was looking forward to having another awesome Monkish beer. Gave Really Real a 4.34, but remember thinking beforehand that this one would not be as good.
Their website called it a “Double IPA with Motueka and Galaxy.”
Poured a medium yellow hazy color with three fingers of off-white frothy head. Some slow moving bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Excellent foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Galaxy, melon, passion fruit, pineapple, peach, grass, herbal, leafy vegetables, papaya and hints of caramel. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted a little better than the nose overall. Got Galaxy, passion fruit, papaya, pineapple, peach sherbet, melon, hints of Motueka, leafy grass, herbal, peppery spice and light caramel. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Not quite as good as Really Real, but still excellent. (Overall - 4.25)

Canned 11/21/17. ‘Hooks a Left.’
Pours a hazy golden yellow.. thin white foam and hardly any lace.
Full of pineapple and tropical notes, finishing with a subtle hoppy bitterness. Really nice aromas.
The flavors here are surprisingly subtle, with the hops pairing with a light tropica fruitiness that’s nice, but also begs for a little more.
Nice medium body, smooth and creamy. No complaints here.
