Opaque tannish-yellow with a very thin white blanket.
Nutty papaya and brighter pineapple-mango come in a bit of a acidic resin package, though still tasty. Hint of red pepper?

6 weeks old. Can to wine glass.
L: Pours a full and hazy yellow with a foamy, large-pored head that dissipates quickly and leaves a bit of lacing. No floaters.
S: Passion fruit, mango, pineapple, peach and grapefruit. Rather sweet and slightly alcoholic.
T: Fresh tropical fruits mixed with candied citrus fruits. Strong notes of passion fruit, mango and tangerine. Medium sweetness, bitter finish.
F: Juicy, full and creamy. Medium carbonation.
O: Being rather creamy and tropical than fresh and citrusy, this one makes for a nice change compared to the majority of Monkish's IPAs. Not overly complex or experimental, it's a very well crafted no-bullshit IPA that I really enjoyed drinking.

Canned on 7/26/22; consumed on 8/20/22
Pours a turbid, milky gold body capped with multiple fingers of fluffy, white foam; good head retention leaves a chunky island of cap, craggy, frothy collar, and comprehensive spatter of soapy, webby/spotty lacing dotted across the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens to orange and mango, with soft lime creamsicle propelling sweetness into earthy papaya as progressively musty pineapple fades through the back end of the bouquet.
Taste brings a grapefruit tang into softer mango, while lime creamsicle phases cleanly through orange zest on the mid-palate and gritty resins into the back end engage a waxy dank overtone as overripe guava lingers through the finish.
Mouthfeel shows a medium body and a fluffy, moderate carbonation, imparting creamy textures into taut, resinous grit over the mid-palate, followed by a juicy overlay coating an otherwise slick, pseudo-bitterness on the finish.
A creamy balance of zesty dank and boggy resins sporting smooth tropical overtones and pithy character; a quintessentially varied, higher-tier Monkish NEIPA.

Pours a completely opaque, hazy, matte yellow color. Two finger bone white head forms, then dissipates steadily. Very little residual head remains, nor is there much lacing.
Aroma has bright notes of papaya, orange, orange creamsicle, and grassy hops.
Taste follows the nose with notes of papaya, mango, orange creamsicle, orange, giving way to some dank grassy, somewhat herbal hops on the back end. Moderate, prominent bitterness on the back end into the finish. Surprisingly for these NE IPAs, its really not very sweet.
Feel is medium to full bodied. Thick and somewhat sludgy. Bright carbonation. Its odd, but this one produces a tingling in the mouth as you drink it - almost like a hop burn?
Overall its a nice IPA - leans more on the herbal side as opposed to the fruity.

Thanks to Dimidiata for this one, from a recent ninja box during NBS BIF #12. 16oz can (dated 11/3/20) poured into 14 oz teku. Poured a solid turbid and murky orange color with 2/3 inch of white head that had good retention and lacing.
The aroma was frooty hops, with no grain or malt support.
Same on the tongue, all froot, with the added bonus of a sharp alcohol burn across the the tastebuds.
The body was medium, smooth, and had great carb throughout.
Drinkability will depend on your attitude towards the style; if you like the murkbombs, you'll be able to drain this easily. For me, it was a bit of a chore, especially with the alcohol heat.
Overall, an average-ish murkster. YMMV.

Hazy and pulpy, as expected. Good head production, but mediocre retention and little lacing.
Nose is, well, hoppy - as expected. Brightly herbal, mildly dank, and a bit tropical. Individual tones are hard to pick out, aside from pepper, basil, mango, papaya, lemon, and mandarin orange.
Really hoppy and full-flavored on the palate, with a heavy emphasis on herbal tones, with tropical notes complementing, and citrus notes a distant third. Perhaps unsurprising, given the hop profile. Fairly low sweetness, and a solid amount of bitterness. Low astringency.
Phenomenal mouthfeel: creamy and smooth, very little bite but still lively, no hint of the sky high (near-IIIPA) ABV.
Overall: could use more sweetness. Not more malt base, just overall sweetness. Still, the hop profile is delightful. This is - as expected - an exceptionally well-crafted WC NE-style IIPA. Emphasis is on herbal tones over fruit, but if that's right up your alley (think: Galaxy!), then you should be well-pleased.

Sweet tropical, slightly dank, hoppy nose on this one! Taste follows with a light and crisp bitter hop bite that transforms into an almost grapefruity/citrus bitterness as it warms. It lingers and grabs at the tongue a bit after the swallow. Typical great quality from Monkish Brewing...so soft on the palate and great mouthfeel!
