It’s got a little bite on the finish.

Canned on 4/28/22; consumed on 5/22/22
Pours a turbid, milky gold body capped with multiple fingers of fluffy, sudsy, white foam; good head retention leaves a firm mound of centralized cap, a thin, soapy collar, and a haphazard spattering of speckled/webby lacing strewn across the walls of the glass.
Aromas of grapefruit peel waft against a flaky malt base steadily bolstered by an underlying creamy mango and bright, pink Hi-Ci accents; musty guava lingered through the back of the bouquet as earthier tones of composted pineapple show on the close.
Taste finds papaya and pink grapefruit upfront, with distant edges of lemon and pine phasing towards a tropical mush of green banana, floral pineapple, and orange pulp, leaving tangerine juice to invigorate a more citrus-laden finish.
Mouthfeel offers a medium-full body and carbonation on the softer end of moderate, dispersing taut, increasingly creamy textures over the mid-palate, followed by boggy resins slight into the back end, gliding toward a semi-juicy close with tinges of gritty bittering.
A deft malt base somewhat stabilizes a dense array of hop character, though largely fails to reign in the weighty result of this extensive dry-hopping effort; a boggy, tropical amalgam; untamed and unfocused, though a wholly intriguing profile.

Pours a soft orange color with an opaque transparency. Head is a finger of white foam. Aroma is peach, grapefruit, strawberry, and orange with a hearty and heavy consistency throughout. Flavor profile is peach, grapefruit, and strawberry, keeping the flavor profile leaning sweet. Mild hop bite at the end really brings it all to a close, with that hop bite growing as the beer warms. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a creamy, decadent, and soft texture. Overall, fruit forward, not necessarily tropical fruits, keeping it intriguing.

Yellow and opaque -- par for Monkish course.
Lime, pungent as it warms.
Sweet fruit leaning toward grapefruit, without the astringency -- might be Strata. Pine but again without anything biting. Melon of Galaxy doesn't shout at me, might curb grapefruit. Note: let it warm.
Staining, maybe a touch thicker than their DIPAs. Faint bitterness.
