another really good stronger hazy from these guys, they have the texture thing dialed, so smooth and soft and interesting without being malty in the traditional sense, the grain holds the hops up well, its off dry, and its super creamy and probably oat based, delicious! this one has a killer hop profile too, citra and motueka. this one is a little thicker and more milked up than the sticky traffic i had in close proximity, its dense but still not chunky, a bit shorter lived on the head too, though also pure white. nose of peaches and cantaloupe with some sweet orange and white coconut in play, they have maxed out the motueka, and the citra seems more in a supporting role, at least its familiar enough that its less striking, regardless of dosage. i dont smell much from grain or yeast, the hops are bold but not oversaturated, and bitterness seems tame. the flavor is like the nose, ripe melon, mandarin orange, cuties, papaya, tropical juiciness but not cloying, and with light green grape and even herbal tea-like aspects as it warms a little, green tea, coconut, bee balm, springy and shockingly easy for its size, look, and all this body, like its so smooth and gentle to drink on, not vegetal in the least, and low on bitterness for how hoppy it is overall. not oily on the palate as a lot of these can be, working towards dry at the end, a touch weedy and dank, heavier citra later, a really lovely interplay between these varietals. it looks maybe a little messy, but the mouthfeel is great, starchy and holding the hops. really excellent beer overall, i get why these guys are put on a pedestal for their hazy beer!

Such a great hop combo. Overripe pineapple & tropical fruit on the nose; palate contrasts w/ sweet, grassy, & grapefruit. Dangerously smooth @ 8.4%.

Deep hazy yellow. Smell is grassy citrus, not as potent as expected. Taste is the same with a nice grassy bitterness and full mouth feel. Nice but not as nice as I hoped it would be

Pours a hazy, murky, creamy looking pineapple color. 2 finger fluffy, frothy white head. Retention is very good. There's some nice lacing on the glass.
The nose has a decent pineapple aroma to it.
Taste - Like the nose - very nice pineapple flavor going on here.
A bit of a tart feeling here. The body is decent, and the hops do linger in my throat for a while.
Tasty and very solid IPA
