Copenhagen 30/10 2023. 47,3 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Drawing of a sinister Mummy wrapped in bandages sniffing hop-flowers.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a small white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as meagre remnants of foam floating about. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet fermented odor of tropical fruits mingling with sharp citrus fruit. Mango and Passion fruit. Whiff of fermentation and alcohol. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong and sharp bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a strong boozy tang. Lingering. Finish is bone dry.
Potent double wrapped fermented DIPA.

Canned on 7/5/23; consumed on 8/3/23
Pours a an opaque, bright gold body topped with just over a finger of soapy, white foam; mediocre head retention yields a paper-thin cap, modest, frothy collar, and a sparse array of spotty/webby lacing spattered around the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens with musty lime over a hearty, flaky malt underscore as lingering notes of guava, papaya, and passionfruit zest, intertwine throughout the bouquet.
Taste brings slick resins, white grape, and passionfruit upfront, with orange zest meeting juicy mango peel through the mid-palate while bright guava entwines with fresh grass through the finish.
Mouthfeel offers a medium body and a subtle, rounded fluff of moderate carbonation; spritzy grit levies an earthy semi-bittering in contrast to creamy resins over the mid-palate before a juicy back end softens into the finish.
Balanced intensity spearheading citric dank through a semi-juicy tropical interplay; an above-average, comprehensively enjoyable offering.

Thank you BartS for this
16 oz can, dated 2/2/21, poured into a teku
A- A hazy golden straw with a small white head.
S- Citrus, grapefruit, some pineapple, dank, some mangoes and melons, tropical fruits, a little earthy.
T- Citrus, tropical fruits, pineapple, grapefruit, some melons, earthy, dank, lime zest, touch of mango. Wonderful balance between fruity and bitter.
M- Smooth, medium body.
O- This is a great NEIPA and doesn’t have the unbalanced sweetness that most Triple NEIPAs have. Honestly drinks like a NEIPA that is more like 6-7% ABV. Bitterness and fruitiness work very well together.

Subdued white wine grape, hint of earthy tropical hoppy, and orange citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a grapefruit citrus hoppy and dry earthy/grassy swallow...galaxy hops start to dominate as it warms. This is so soft on the palate and it hides the big ABV really well. Really good stuff!

This delectable delight is a triple tropical bomb with a little heat at the end. Slight bitterness, good carbonation and very balanced. One of my favorite Monkish triples.
