Another great triple IPA from Monkish. No booze. Drinks like an imperial IPA. Good stuff.

Canned on 1/18/23; consumed on 2/14/23
Pours a glossy, egg yolk-gold body capped with a finger and a half of creamy, white foam; decent head retention leaves a paper-thin cap, thin, frothy collar, and a sparse array of spotty lacing holding tentatively to the walls of the glass.
Aromas of fresh tangerine evolve to a sticky fruit parfait, while a lime inflection counters a waxy dank fading alongside tones of grapefruit juice as hints of mango sherbet meet a grassy tinge on the back end of the bouquet.
Taste brings clementine, overripe guava, and passionfruit dominating upfront, with orange and lime zest sparking the mid-palate to an eventual balance of dank resins and white grape on the back end.
Mouthfeel offers a medium body and a subdued, moderate carbonation, levying glossy resins and a peaking milkiness over the mid-palate into a level, hoppy twang through the back end, ultimately culminating with an ample silliness finishing.
Citric guidance plays into heavy saturation of boggy, tropical overtones, a steady balance yielding easy textures and the assured consistency commonly characterized in Monkish NEIPAs.

Quickly dissipating head. Very hazy straw colored. Grapefruit forward citrus taste. Little bit of dankness. A bit too bitter for me to love.

Sweet white wine grape, tropical hoppy, and hint of grapefruit citrus, and citrus-dank nose on this one! Yum! Taste follows with a juicy-soft, tropical hoppy, and balanced grapefruit citrus bitter finish...citrus dank notes come out more as it warms. This has outstanding depth and mouthfeel. This is fantastic!
