Thanks, Dave!

Was lucky enough to get this one and three others from Dave on a recent meet-up. I usually wouldn’t review a beer as old as 84 days (I don’t like to go past 60 days), to me this was fine as most Monkish beers seem to be released too soon anyway. Untappd description was “Double Dry Hopped Triple IPA w/ Galaxy, Riwaka, and Mosaic.”

Poured a bright light golden hazy color with two fingers of frothy of-white head. Could just see a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Outstanding lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.25)

Smelled Galaxy, Riwaka, passion fruit, grapefruit, kumquat, peach, melon, floral, Mosaic, mixed berry and trash. Just as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)

Tasted about as good as the nose. In order got Riwaka, Galaxy, grapefruit, kumquat, passion fruit, melon, peach, floral, Mosaic, mixed berry, grape and plum. Pretty smooth for 10.1 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.00)

Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.50)

Just a really nice beer. Not the best from Monkish but another good hazy TIPA. (Overall - 4.25)
