Served in a footed glass at Ale Arsenal. From notes. Reviewed 15 November 2013.
Pink or crimson. Clear. The nose is so faint as to be undetectable. The taste is incredibly interesting. Dryish, spicy, almost funky. Very floral Belgian yeast. Sharp-tart hibiscus is obvious, but the very apparent yeast carries it out. A noble effort. Would drink again and recommend.

On-tap at Beachwood I,
A: Pours a medium pinkish amber, nice colour, great head, some lace.
S: Flowery, hibiscus with some caramel malt.
T: Overt hibiscus, floral and herbal. Fruity with some raspberry like character. Hint of wheat at the end which makes for a nice twist.
M: Crisp and biting at times, but with a soft easy carbonation and feel overall. Elegant, the beer is great here.
O: Full-flavoured, interesting, local, what's not to love about this beer. Well worth a try.
