Poured from 22oz bomber into a dimpled mug.

Appearance: medium golden hue with minimal haze, a lazy effervescence and a thin layer of frothy ivory foam.

Smell: sweet malt with a grassy, herbal, earthy hop character. Not too bad, but not especially exciting.

Taste: sweet and a little toasty with a slightly different hop character than the aroma; there's actually a little fruitiness here as well. That said, it seems well-enough made, but like the aroma there's nothing particularly original here.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess for the style.

Overall: a decent enough IPA; I certainly wouldn't turn one down if it were presented to me.

Poured from a 22oz bottle.
L: Pours a cloudy light golden amber a huge foamy head with good lacing, way to much foam maybe bottled to early.
S: Strong pine hop nose.
T: A vanilla taste is there Kind of strange taste there, good hop bitterness
F: The malts come out first then the hops moderate carbonation but produced the massive amounts of head foam.
O: An ok IPA it gets better as you down the bottle.

Slightly chill-hazed orange amber with a brief head in the tall goblet. Some piney-fruity aromas. Rather rich. It seems more like a DIPA in body and intensity. No real malt flavors.

Tang of orange marmalade with the hint of sweet citrus followed by the unrelenting grapefruit peel bitterness unfolding on the tongue. This becomes more hot as it warms. Seriously bitter aftertaste. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Wine World and Spirits in north Seattle.

22oz bottle poured into a large mug. Fridge is set around 41 F, but it's only been in there a couple hours, so it's probably a bit warmer than that. Bottle code is 161 G 1602 2013. Props to a small brewery for dating their bottles...even though I don't understand it. Hopefully, that doesn't mean it's nearly a year old. If so, that's probably not going to help their rating much.

Pours darkish amber, smallish head which fades fairly slowly. When backlit, you can really see a lot of carbonation. Smell is floral, bright, but not powerful. Lots of citrus. Quite nice.

Taste is super malty...but with a strong piney bitterness. First taste response was, "Where're the hops?" and aftertaste response was "Oh there it is." Something is a little off in this beer. I don't know how to describe the off flavor, but it's a flavor I associate with mediocre homebrew.

Mouthfeel is super dry, fairly light. Overall...that off flavor is off. It's not overpowering, but it's not ignorable.

22oz bomber into a Mekong snifter.

Pours a very foamy murky orange - huge head but partly my fault from rapidly dropping the beers temp and subsequently opening it. smell is hoppy but not huge...very fruity aroma but not tropical fruit.. pear, apple. subtle, mild fruits. quite pleasant. the taste is also very pleasant...easy drinking. nothing huge or outstanding about this one but i do get a lot of complexity... citrus, floral, pine all mixed together. very drinkable. mild body, medium carbonation.

overall a very easy drinking IPA. recommended!

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a thick, creamy white head with excellent retention and lacing. Nice aroma of citrus and floral hops, caramel malt and a strange, but compelling exotic fruit aroma with an anise component. Flavor is pale and bready malt, citrus and resiny pine hops but with little in the way of pine esters. Interesting toffee and grapefruit rind develop finishing with citrus hop bitterness. Medium bodied with some creaminess. An interesting IPA that has more bittering hops than herbal hop flavor, but also some interesting flavor components that I just can't put my finger on, but kept me coming back for one more taste. Not a tongue buckling hop IPA, but a quite interesting one with a nice balance of flavors. I usually like a bit more malt presence in an IPA, but enjoyed this one quite a bit anyway. This may be the first bottled appearance of brew from this local brewery and not a bad start.

Growler poured into a Deschutes Brewery painted pint glass.

A - Pours golden, with a nice white head...- great lacing!

S - Hops and lots of sweet citrus -

T - Smooth & Bright! A good hop kick at the top, followed by some citrus, then ending with a bit of pine-like spices...Pleasant & refreshing!!

M - Great carbonation (almost too much, but I like a fair share of carbination in beer)! There's a good fullness. Present, but not 'too' much fruity/sweet flavors...

D - This is a great example of a fresh NW IPA! Great balance and I'm so glad I'm within 15 mins of the brewery/tasting room...YUM!! Chasin' Cheers :~)

A: Poured a glowing light orangish golden color leaving a small white cap, some bubbles that quickly fade

S: Lighter citrus, bitter hops, toasted malt and somebread

T: Citrus bouquet upfront balanced with toasted malt and some breadiness. Pretty damn bitter midway to finish. Light booze sting.

M: Medium body, bitterness, dry

O: Not bad, while it is good it is still average considering the quality of IPAs on the markwt in the area
