Not really a milk stout. Pretty hoppy and no sweetness to be found.

Thoroughly enjoyed from the 22 oz bottle in a snifter. This solid stout pours a dark murky brown with a moderate head of quickly dissipating brown foam that settle to a thin ring and no lacing. Nose of chocolate, cream, and deeply roasted malts and grains. Flavors surpass the nose with bitter sweet bakers chocolate blending nicely with the lactose sugars with touches of toffee and coffee on the back with a goodly amount of deeply roasted malts and grains. Smooth and silky mouth feel with light carbonation is slick and coating like a good stout should be with a nice bitter malt aftertaste lingering with coffee and chocolate flavors. VERY nice. Could use a touch more carbonation, but that is nit picking. A great first for me from this brewery that have never tried before today which is sad since they are only about 12 minutes down the road from where I work.
Cheers
