From the growler via Jungle Jim's Eastgate in a snifter. This nice little
dessert stout pours a coal black with a nice head of khaki foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin faint layer, and sports light lacing. Nose of
sweet chocolate and faint coffee with touches of char and brulee.
Flavors surpass the nose nicely with a dark chocolate drizzle over
light vanilla and dark coffee that shows more with warmth as does it's
bitterness with touches of warming alcohol and deep caramel. Nice mouth
feel; light carbonation, smooth, warming, slick, coating, and finishing
with a bitter malt finish.
Overall, a SOLID brew.
