This nice winter ale pours a nice red tinged copper with a
solid head of off white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin light
layer, and sports subtle lacing. Nose of ginger, orange zest, nutmeg,
and caramel malts. Flavors follow the nose with nutmeg and mace
to the fore, with caramel malts and orange zest touched ginger notes
on the middle to rear of the taste with some pine and herbal hop notes.
Nice mouth feel; medium light body, medium carbonation, and a herbal
hop and spiced finish that is medium dry.
Overall, more great stuff from a great brewery....and c'mon.....why is it
