Bought from Drinks Of The World, Geneva store (who has a big collection of Belgian inspireds, but still working my way thru them.) My first from Du Jorat and I want to like them; but this is their flagship and it is average.
Blanche Looks and Smells average, not enough foam sticks around and the wit's unique spices and fruits are bland in this specimen. Tastes are balanced, but still indistinct. Less than medium-mouthed for the style. This wit would benefit from a more lively yeast. Maybe it's the elevation? Wits have this problem in Denver (although it is twice higher than most Swiss cities.)
I want to like Du Jorat because they have improved their packaging for some 18 years and it looks quite good. Their website is pretty (could offer an English button if they want to grow.) They make pretty gift packages of their bottles. And their labels make a consistent image, unlike most micros. So that's why I give good Overall Hugs.

330ml bottle served in its own chalice glass.
A: Pours a pale yellow to light beige color. Very cloudy. Forms a medium white head. Low retention and almost no lacings left
S: Very soft on the nose. Wheat mainly. Bready and yeasty but softly fruity and spicy
T: Very smooth beer. Pleasant. Quite bready. Wheat backbone. Earthy too. Not bitter at all
M: Bit creamy, bit molasses body. Light mouthfeel. Medium to low carbonation. Bready aftertaste
O: Nice homebrew. Not exactly a Witbier since it lack spices, you cannot feel orange zest or coriander like a traditional Witbier but, it's still a pleasant and easy drinking beer
