i was half expecting (and hoping) for this to be some sort of beer tribute to irish cream the booze, but alas, just a cold fermented ale. a littlr haze here, definitely creamy looking, with a flffy white head, dense for a lighter beer, nice carbonation visible. i taste a little biscuity malt here, fuller and more substantial than is common, with a touch of honey sweetness in the middle. there is a great crispness to the feel, almost a lagered sort of vibe to this, mature and snappy later on, really refreshing and drinkable even though it has a little more body than most. i like the fresh cereal malt flavor, i like the creamy feel, sort of protein rich in a way, well structured but still clean. this was actually one of the least adventurous beers they had on tap here at outlaw. something approachable among a range of far otu offerings. i really enjoyed this one, simple as it is. sometimes simple is best, and this being a little bigger makes it nice in the chilly to freezing montana autumn season.
