Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden color with a tiny head of white foam. The head fades almost instantly leaving just a trace of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is a mix of sweeter fruits of a harvest nature along with some aromas of orange and pear. Along with these smells comes some lighter notes of grapefruit and a little bit of grass as well.
Taste- The taste begins with a nice smooth, slightly sweeter fruity taste of apple, pear, pineapple and peach. There is a little bit of an earthy hop upfront, which ends up fading more and more as the taste advances. The earthy hop is later replaced by some other hop tastes of grapefruit and a little bit of grass, leaving one with a nice sweeter but smooth taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thin and light with a carbonation level that is rather moderate. For pale ale style of the brew it makes for a very easy drinker and for a brew that is one flavorful and enjoyable brew overall.
Overall – I rather enjoyed this one. It was a little bit on the sweeter side, but still very balanced overall. I hope they add this one to the regular rotation as it is quite nice overall.
