Lighter color but heavily hazy, strong juicy flavor.

Had on tap at Bozeman Airport’s Ross Peak bar.
Nice hazy NEIPA that drank very smooth. Much creamier than I’d expect for a basic IPA.
Enjoyed sipping while waiting for flight home.
Have enjoyed many a brew in Montana over the years, but this was my first from Outlaw. Not bad at all. Pleasantly good.
Would try Outlaw brews again.

Pours a hazy straw yellow with a finger of foamy head that dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of orange with the faintest trace of pine. Taste follows nose.

Don’t think it retired. I had this beer on tap at Bozeman Airport. Great taste, not too much citrus. As of right now best Hazy IPA I have had.

I tried this beer off the tapper at Montana Ale Works in Bozeman, Montana as part of a three sample flight. It poured a hazy golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base and semi sweet citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

not retired, this is on tap at the bozeman airport. a pretty robust hazy, almost overly so, i love the name, i dont love the beer as much. its really hazy, pale straw colored but dense and thick from the tap, thick white head on it, looks active for how heavy it seems. the nose is good, green a little bit but real fresh, lemony, with some canned pineapple and melon notes, citra and mosaic seem likely, but im not sure what all is in here in terms of hops, a little sweet orange too, maybe a hint of white wine, its popping and intense, even resinous in a fruity sort of way, not a piney or weedy one, concentrated like that. it smells a little better than it tastes, its sloppier on the palate, too full bodied, some sweetness running through it that is never resolved, and more density than i want overall. the hops are kind of oily, and even with decent carbonation this drinks slow, sticks to my tongue, and fills me up, a pint felt like a lot of this to drink even though the alcohol content is modest. the flavor is fine, generically fruity, again citra seems to be in the mix, meyer lemon and lemongrass, pineapple candy, even some floral honey with the sweetness of the grain. its good but its lacking refinement a little bit. some will love this, but for me i want it to be a little more cleaned up, dried out, lightened a little, drop some bite out of the finish. tons of potential here.

Served on tap a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a thick and hazy orange-yellow color with a one finger head of pure white foam. The head fades very fast to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather light overall with a little bit of sweet orange and tangerine mixed with some aromas of a sweeter grapefruit hop. Along with these smells comes some hints of a dank herbal and grassy smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a lightly sweetened orange juice, tropical, and bready taste all with a decent hit of some grapefruit and light herbal hop. As the taste advances the grapefruit hop gets quite a bit stronger all while some grass and more herbal tastes come to the tongue. With a little surge in sweetness due to more orange and a bit of tropical fruit and caramel and some yeast and a touch of earth, one is left with a moderately and diversely hopped and lightly sweetened taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average in its thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is slightly lower. For the style, grapefruit and slightly dank hop, and moderate sweetness the feel is good and makes for an easy but flavorful brew.
Overall – This is a rather easy drinking NEIPA. Balanced and enjoyable!!
