pours a deep dark brown /black color with a khaki head . Wonderful smell or roasted malts ,dark fruits and whiskey. Taste is superb on this smooth mellow whiskey integrated with chocolate, coffee vanilla and oak. mouth feel again superb so smooth and rich with the above flavors. This brew is one of the best BA Stouts ive tasted.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Smooth and incredibly drinkable for 13%. Tremendous barrel character but integrated well with the base stout. So many big stouts like this are hot but this was not.

 

On tap at CBC 2016, day 2. Pitch black with a tall and very nice-looking espresso head. Chocolate and bourbon, caramel, vanilla, some coconut, perfectly balanced and super smooth.
