On tap at Bell's Eccentric Cafe. A re-brew for their 30th Anniversary.
A - thin tan head sits atop a light brown colored ale
S - caramel, toffee, earthy hops
T - very boozy, caramel, toffee, herbal hops, vanilla, toasty grain
M - full body, very hot and boozy
O - I wasn't crazy over it. To me it seemed like their Amber ale amped up to a barley wine, and I'm not crazy over that one. Fun to try one that was originally brewed over 20 years ago.

Had to give a perfect rating.

I have been lucky enough to score some vintage aged Bell's Batch 2000. Circa late 1993. Had one, and it was divine. No oxidization and the yeast corpses were nicely kept at the bottom.

I am delighted to be the only person reviewing this brew... !

Mild Chocolate tones in the nose. Perfectly aged caramelization.

Not past aged prime, may have even been the peak. The taste was one-consistent-merged-sensation, a true crafted barleywine.

Bottle's Label put on by hand, hardly sticking on! This is some old-school Bell's!!

Yes, It twas delicsh!
