Nov. 2014: Sample on tap at What’s Brewing Beer Festival, Stavanger. 9% sherry barrel aged saison. Pale golden colour, white head. Strong farmhouse and oak aroma, hints of lemons. The flavour is not as sour as expected, medium sweet, notes of oxidised apples and other fruits, also oak. Moderate hops.

The aroma hits of champagne, with bright white grapes, along with some sherry spiciness.
The flavor hits of orange zest, a punch of sherry and honey sweetness in the middle, and the beer dries out with some juniper and spicy qualities.
