Big foamy dark head, good retention and lacing, pitch black beer
Nose tons of vanilla, vanilla ice cream, mild roasted coffee, roasted malt notes but not acrid, chocolate milk, fudgey
Taste sweet creamy chocolate malt, loads of vanilla, milk chocolate, roasted coffee, little char background, Smokey like char, fudgey, smooth vanilla, fair bitterness increasing on the finish
Mouth is med to fuller bod, decent lighter carb
Overall quite nice

Tasted from bottle. Pours black with beige head. Aroma is lots of vanilla with coffee notes. Taste is moderate to have a Lee sweet but session a bowl. Amazing for the not so high ABV. Flavors of vanilla, chocolate,coffee, and caramel.

had on tap at the brewery. one of the least intrusive, most integrated uses of vanilla I have had in a beer.
