Enjoyed at the 3rd Anniversary Party at the brewery. Reviewed from notes.
A - Poured into the custom Tree House wine glass a dark brownish black hue with a thin mocha head that fades to leave light wisps.
S - Aromas of nice chocolate fudge, little bit of chocolate syrup, however, I get no blackberries on the nose unfortunately.
T - Taste is similar to the nose...nice base beer chocolate and fudge, little bit of malt sweetness. Now, I get only the slightest flash of blackberries, which is a shame.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, creamy.
O - Overall, the lack of assertive or even subtle blackberry notes in this is a real bummer. No seeds, no jammy notes, not much at all really. Definitely too bad.
