Vanilla and milk chocolate dominate this version. Maple for some reason its subtle. Big coffee nutty bitterness dances with the Vanilla sweetness in my mouth. Mouthfeel is full creamy and thick. A little chewy. Great brew, but I like the regular GM better again.

Huuuuuuge thanks to rudzud for sharing this with me, and thanks to the beer/karma gods for letting him win this.

Big creamy mocha colored head, hits 1 finger then fades fairly slowly, great lacing, nice long legs pitch black color.

Nose is incredible, starting with big vanilla, tons of vanilla, smooth vanilla into smooth nutty coffee, a bit earthy like an African coffee bean. Then great beer base, mild maple, choc and cocoa, little fudge like and lots of creamy milk choc.

Taste big rich creamy, thick fudgey, cocoa and milky choc, little roast note and slight tang, but smooth, little dark cocoa. Big coffee, earthy nutty smooth rich coffee, again smooth and mellow. Mild maple in the background, with plenty of vanilla in the foreground, nice smooth vanilla, little fudgey to go with it. Faint bitterness. Finish smooth rich creamy, dark cocoa and fudge, little coffee and bitter roast lingering, mild char, some vanilla and maple lingering.

Mouth is thick and creamy, lush and fudgey, almost chewy, nice carb.

Overall great, only down from a 5 due to maple being a bit overpowered, and faint charred bitterness. Otherwise amazing.

Enjoyed last night with My girlfriend and @blckout20 out of Tree House tulips over a long period as the beer warmed. It's hard to believe of the hundred+ people that were at TH on Thursday night that @bootdown21 and I both got raffle picks. Huge thanks to the TH dudes.

Note: I have not yet opened a base Good Morning B2 so my comparisons to the base may be a bit off if the base has been adjusted.

Nose-Brownies, dark, roasty coffee, maple, slight vanilla extract smell from vanilla with a touch of booze. Very light maple, little more as it warms and richens. Reminds me of a good smelling diner after a bender.

Look- Thick dark brown/black black coffee look with a toasted biscuit head which seems to dissipate more quickly than the base Good Morning.

Mouthfeel-This is a decent distinction between this and the base good morning. The mouthfeel is more slick and less creamy/milkshake than the base- this variant reminds me a tad more of a RIS- my guess is that maybe the acidity from the vanilla beans may have changed the consistency a tad or something. This beer has a different but also very enjoyable mouthfeel, more slick and oily feeling.

Taste- Much like the base Good Morning, the flavor starts with marsh-mellow flavor, with some very rich deep roasted coffee flavor that combined with the vanilla tastes distinctly like a black French vanilla cup of Joe, nutty and bold. My breath is going to remember this. A real cocoa taste comes to mind with the vanilla x coffee residual taste, the light maple, and the vanilla extract bourbon flavor. Maple seems lighter than the base here too.

I am very stoked to have tried this. It was delicious. I like the base a tad more, but they are distinct enough where this is a really nice variant. Vanilla Bourbon seems to replace the maple a bit, and the mouthfeel is more slick and less creamy. Little heavier strength coffee which could be from the vanilla. Fuckin killer.

Shared with JLindros. Thanks Lauren for pulling my name out of the 100+ people, crazy luck. Only 10 growlers of this beer to go around. I also think I pulled a fellow BA's name from the box after I got my name drawn (either Guzzle_McBrew or bootdown21) which is pretty cool. Those two guys were amped to all hell that they both got picked.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip with a nice dark black hue that had a thin mocha head that left sticky mocha lacing and spotty head.

S - Aromas of maple syrup and vanilla galore. Nice coffee notes, the vanilla beans and maple really really shine here. Very nutty coffee too!

T - Taste is glorious vanilla, glorious glorious vanilla. Awesome maple and nutty roast coffee. Light chocolate, rich bakers chocolate. The maple is a bit overshadowed than the base beer. Still, delicious!

M - Mouthfeel is great, silky, alcohol hidden wonderfully. Wow.

O - Overall this beer was really incredible, just incredible. Wonderful vanilla here, great nutty coffee, nice maple. Absolutely delicious. So rare, so tasty. Incredibly lucky to get a growler of this, thanks Lauren!
