The tenth installment of our Curiosity Series, which began back in Brimfield back in March of 2013, is a gorgeous Double IPA completely saturated with hops. An imperial mash-up of Curiosity Six, Curiosity Nine, and Julius, Ten is one of the juiciest beers we’ve made. The aroma and flavor is filled with notes of orange juice and orange rind balanced by a pungent earthy dankness. Grapefruit, mango, and papaya also compete for your tastebuds while a soft mouthfeel and proper dryness make it a pleasure to drink! Ten!!

Pours opaque gold color with a 2 finger thick beige colored foamy head that faded very slowly and left really nice camouflage lacing coating the tulip glass. Smells very juicy and screams of potent citrus hops; the aroma is a mix of grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, lime, orange juice, papaya, honeydew melon, fruity candy like Razzles and some piney notes. There is something simple about the nose, but it’s so pleasant to inhale that it seemed to get better every time I took it in. Flavor has all the same components as the aroma with the additions of peach, brown sugar, yeast, caramel, mild spices like coriander, floral notes like excessive dry hopping, gummy bears and tea leaf. Perfectly balanced and easy to drink, it tastes super fresh and hides the ABV masterfully. Very impressive, one of the better TH beers I’ve had recently.

On tap at Charlton. 12oz pour into a tulip.
Pouts an opaque yellowish orange with about one finger of white head. Ok retention, great lacing.
Nice citrus (oranges, tangerines) and tropical fruit aromas.
Taste folliws with some bubble gum/juicy fruit flavors. Medium bitterness.
Medium to full bodied. Low carbonation. Soft mouthfeel. Light bitter aftertaste.
Very nice brew. Old school Tree House taste.

Big thanks to Nate, and rudzud for sharing.
Pours a nice creamy fluffy 1.5 finger head that fades semi slowly with nice layered lacing, hazy reddish orange color.
Nose big tropical hops and citrus and resin, orange cream, resin, orange peel and little pith, little tropical note, mild sweet reddish malt, so much orange Julius, quite dank and semi resinous, mild tropical vinous thing.
Taste brings a creamy wheat like malt base, creamy grassy wheat and malt, etc, into big orange, little peel and pith, lots of orange cream, little banana note and tropical notes, nice big tropical flavours, and another tropical fruit I can't pick. Very dank and resinous, mild to fair bitterness, generic tropical fruit maybe guava papaya thing, quite juicy. Finish i brings fair bitterness, nice big tropical fruit and dank musty resin, pith, orange juice and peel, creamy malt, that lingers for a while.
Mouth is med bod, creamy, decent carb.
Overall very ingesting and tasty, similar to Julius but with extra resin and tropical notes, enjoyable and tasty.

"Curiosity 10 is an awesome juicy chewy burst of tasty bitterness that gives the best of Trillium's dry hopped stuff a run for their money"!
Don't get me wrong - I am a loyal Trillium fan but for my first Tree House pint, this was a complete treat. Really frigging good. So good I went back today for a few more and am now working on a Very Hazy.

Huge thanks to Nate for hooking us up with this one. Awesome.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a lightly hazy orange with a good one finger white head that fades to leave great leaving and a thin blanket.
S - Aromas of great citrus orange notes, mild tropical, faint malt, super dank and fragrant. The orange here, with light tangerine, is super prominent. Incredibly aromatic. Very Julius like.
T - Taste is very Julius like, only with more tropical notes on top of the orange and citrus. Soft malts, tangerine, somewhat generic tropical fruit. The finish is really nice. Good lingering citrus and orange, not that bitter at all. Alcohol is hidden nicely, good and dank with a lightly fluffy finish. Good resin, nice.
M - Mouthfeel is a little fluffy, nice carbonation. Alcohol hidden nicely.
O -Overall this beer was very tasty, good citrus and tropical notes, mostly tangerine. Good Julius notes, delicious.
